A work permit (i.e. a work permit including a valid residence permit, employee card, blue card or card of an in-house transferred employee) is not required for a foreigner: -
with a permanent residence permit in the territory of the Czech Republic,
who is a family member of a member of a diplomatic mission, consular office or a family member of an employee of an international governmental organization based in the territory of the Czech Republic,
who has been granted asylum or subsidiary protection,
which is and whose performance of work on the territory of the Czech Republic does not exceed seven consecutive calendar days or a total of 30 days in a calendar year,
performing artist
pedagogical worker,
an academic staff member of the university,
a scientific worker who is a participant in a scientific meeting,
a pupil or student under the age of 26,
an athlete
a person who ensures the supply of goods or services in the Czech Republic or delivers these goods, or
a person who carries out assembly on the basis of a commercial contract, or carries out warranty and repair work,
who is employed on the territory of the Czech Republic in accordance with an international agreement , the ratification of which was approved by the Parliament and by which the Czech Republic is bound,
who is a member of the rescue unit and provides assistance based on the interstate agreement on mutual assistance in eliminating the consequences of accidents and natural disasters and in the case of humanitarian aid,
who is employed in international transport, if he is sent by his foreign employer to perform work in the territory of the Czech Republic,
which is accredited in the field of media,
who is military or civilian personnel of the armed forces of the sending state under a special law,
who in the territory of the Czech Republic is consistently preparing for a future profession (period of full-time study at a secondary school, conservatory, higher vocational school and language school with the right to a state language exam and period of full-time study at a university , including holidays that are part of the school or academic year),
who is sent to the territory of the Czech Republic as part of the services provided by an employer established in another member state of the European Union,
who resides in the territory of the Czech Republic on the basis of a long-term residence permit for the purpose of family reunification, if the family is living together with a foreigner according to letter a) or c) above, or with a foreigner who resides in the territory of the Czech Republic on the basis of a valid permit to long-term stay,
who resides in the territory of the Czech Republic on the basis of a long-term residence permit of a resident of another member state of the European Union,
who carries out a continuous educational or scientific activity in the Czech Republic as a teaching staff or academic staff of a university or a scientific, research or development staff in a public research institution or other research organization according to a special legal regulation,
who obtained secondary or higher vocational education or higher vocational education in a conservatory according to the Education Act or university education according to the Higher Education Act ,
who resides in the territory of the Czech Republic on the basis of a long-term residence permit for the purpose of protection in the territory according to the Residence Act,
who is a clergyman of a church registered in the Czech Republic or a religious society registered in the Czech Republic,
who is the holder of a residence permit of an intra-company transferred employee issued by another member state of the European Union and is intra-company transferred to the territory of the Czech Republic for a period not exceeding 90 days in any 180-day period, or
whose performance of work on the territory of the Czech Republic is in the interest of the Czech Republic.
